Cherokee is the perfect place to start your Smoky Mountains vacation. Both the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway have entrances in Cherokee. It is only one hour through the National Park to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, or one hour East to Asheville, the Biltmore Estate and other great attractions.

 

The serpentine roadway will take you to many unique shops and gorgeous scenery along the way. Frequent stops are mandatory along the way.
